CONSUMERS BENEFIT - COMPANIES BENEFIT - CITIES BENEFIT - CHARITIES BENEFIT
Unlike other dating shows, here is what's different:
......These participants will not be living in a mansion. They go to work, they have jobs, some have kids...this is
real life ....with real responsibilities...and they want to meet and fall in love with that special someone. (Do you know people like that ?)
....These participants will not be going on dates to Tahiti, Bora Bora and Hawaii. Sorry folks, but in many everyday lives it's a lunch here, a dinner there, a romantic walk there, a movie here. Hey, we live in San Diego for Pete's sake. Enjoy all that America's finest city has to offer.
...The participants are not all young and perfect 10's. OMG...more real life ! (Beauty is in the eye of the beholder anyway) They range in ages 24 to 44. And..and ...some of them actually have some issues. (Good thing you've never dated anyone like that)
.... These people are not going to propose or get married after 7 or 10 or 14 weeks. Come on. Do I even have to explain this one ? It takes time to get to know someone, to know if you really want to spend the rest of your life with someone. We are just playing a little cupid here. And we did pretty good. You watch....
....The participants are not alone. A qualified team of judges, relationship coaches, psychologists, marriage counselors and other experts will be giving both feedback and insight as to who they are, their dates and what is they say they want. Holy analysis Batman !
....The men are competing also against other men. Just like real life. It's not 12 girls and one guy..let's be real here
....Wait till you see the auditions. If you thought singing and dancing auditions were interesting, wait till you see who's looking for love and wants to be on this show.
...It won't look like a game show, because finding that special someone is not a game. No live audience, no stages with glass elevators.....this is real life with people who are looking for love.
...And last, but not least, besides the fun dates...there are some challenges...some "tests" if I might say, some "surprises"......and the "celebrity guest judge".
The Romance is produced and created by Ken Gora, the Executive Producer and Director of last season's "So You Think You Can Sell". "The Romance" is filmed on location in San Diego and some of San Diego's most exciting attractions and venues. Sponsorships, partnerships , advertisers and product placement opportunities are welcome.
